Here’s a quick brief on the company…
Just returned and back in the saddle from the Anchorage Boat Show.
Happily this year we had two Xtaeros in the show; one our show boat, the other an XT24 hanging off a truck.
The crowd gave us abundantly good feed back, that our boat was MUCH better than even last years boat, and there was significantly more interest in the 28 and 32 versions of our boats. Joyfully and thanks to great show management there were more people on the boat than at any previous show.
This made for very good sales prospects and we are super happy to have been able to display for the third year in a row. Not bad for an epic start-up boot strapped company. The Great Alaskan Sportsmans Show is coming up next in Anchorage on April 5,6,7,8 and we intend to be there. With everyone’s help and cooperation we will be.
THE SKIFF!! Xtaero CORAX (named after Corvus Corax… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_raven
The design is typical of Xtaero and the skills we’ve developed over time. It’s a modified constant dead rise, there is no proper chine but it would be considered a hard chine. Dead rise is 12.5 degrees and the 90hp Suzuki pushes it to about 50mph.
The cleats are welded 10″ cleats and everything is welded. It’s a solid runner with a very large flat deck capable of full sheets of plywood and 12’+ lumber. The length from front bulkhead to aft bulkhead between the seat boxes is 17′.
The boat can be purchased as just straight aluminum or a ‘finished’ boat. If finished boat, it includes the following:
Anchor Pulpit, paint in and out, non-skid deck which will probably be diamond plate after this first one, battery, 18 gallon gas tank with quick connect to optional deck tanks, battery master (Blue Sea) LED navigation and anchor light, two Tempress folding seats, welded zinc bracket, stainless threaded plug and your choice of motors. The trailer is Karavan and we recommend the 90hp Suzuki or the Yamaha 60/40 jet.
Available now as factory direct with dealer opportunities.
Details maketh a great boat.
Also, we have begun construction on the next XT24DV Long Cabin and it’s available.
