Tongass National Forest To Hold July 12 Public Hearing To Discuss Mountain Goat Management

YAKUTAT, Alaska – The Yakutat District Ranger, under authority granted by the Federal Subsistence Board, will hold a public hearing July 12, 2022, to share information and solicit comments to help guide Federal subsistence mountain goat management in Unit 5. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game will also be available to answer any questions.  

The event will be held from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Yakutat Kwaan conference room in Yakutat.    Interested persons may also call in by dialing (202) 650-0123 and entering the passcode 895026752#.
