Still Time To Get Board Of Game Proposals Submitted By May 1

Reminder: Deadline Approaches for Alaska Board of Game 

Proposed Changes to Statewide and Central/Southwest Region Regulations

(Juneau) – The deadline for submitting proposed changes to regulations related to hunting, trapping, and the use of game for the Central/Southwest Region, and Statewide Provisions is Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

Details on the specific regulatory topics and the process for properly submitting proposals can be found on the Call for Proposals at  https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=gameboard.main or by contacting ADF&G Boards Support Section at 465-4110.

Proposals received by the proposal deadline and meeting the criteria on the Call for Proposals will be considered by the Board of Game at the Central/Southwest Meeting scheduled for January 10-17, 2025 in Wasilla, and the Statewide Regulations Meeting scheduled for March 21-28, 2025 in Anchorage.  Final proposals will be available for the public on the board’s website in September 2024.
