Ship Creek Moose Permit (RM435) to be Issued Online Only in 2025

(Anchorage) Registration moose permits for the Ship Creek drainage in Unit 14C (RM435) will be available ONLINE ONLY starting at 8:00 AM on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Permits will be available at www.hunt.alaska.gov and 100 permits will be issued.

This hunt is open to any resident or non-resident and the permit is non-transferable. Hunters must have a valid hunting license and may not have harvested a moose anywhere else in the state this regulatory year. Hunters on the failure to report list are not eligible for this permit. Season dates are October 25 – November 30, 2025; however, the hunt will be closed by emergency order when the harvest quota is reached. The quota will be announced on or before Oct. 15. Access to the hunt area is limited and the terrain is extremely demanding.

Successful hunters must report in-person to the Anchorage or Palmer ADF&G office within 3 days of harvest. When reporting, successful hunters must also turn in the required 5-inch section of the lower jaw. For specific details of the RM435 registration permit, please visit the following link:
