Salmon Sisters, XTRATUF Team Up For Alaska-Tough Footwear Products

In 2016 we profiled Emma Teal and Claire Laukitis, aka the Salmon Sisters, who combined their passion for Alaska and fishing into a successful outdoor apparel line. They’ve teamed with outdoor foot apparel company XTRATUF for a new line of Alaska-tough but also stylish boots. Here’s the press release:

Each season, the Salmon Sisters team up with XTRATUF Boots to introduce a seasonal print for XTRATUF’s signature Legacy Boots. For 2021, the Puffin print is found in the 15” Legacy Boot, Legacy Deck Boot and Legacy Clog.

XTRATUF x Salmon Sisters footwear is great for any sort of weather and designed for the ultimate slip resistance and keeping feet dry and cozy.

Salmon Sisters is run by co-founders, fishermen, and sisters Emma and Claire, with support from their amazing all-women team. Emma and Claire grew up on a homestead in Alaska’s remote Aleutian Islands. Their family makes their livelihood harvesting wild seafood from Alaska’s pristine and bountiful waters.
