Otis! My Man! Katmai Crowns Fat Bear Week Winner
The votes are in and Otis – not Otis Day and the Knights (above) from Animal House fame – is the Katmai National Park and Preserve’s Fat Bear Week champion. 480 Otis survived an NCAA Tournament-style bracket vote, taking out four other resident big bruins to take the title. Otis beat 151 Walker in a close vote to take the title of grizzly with the best girth.
