New Years Resolution: Support Bristol Bay’s Fight To Protect It

As we close out another year in the fight to protect Bristol Bay from the toxic Pebble Mine, we wanted to take a minute to recognize how far we’ve come and to look ahead with resolve and determination as we carry this fight into 2022.

The Clean Water Act 404c veto process is now back in the hands of the EPA, with a timeline to complete protections by this coming summer. And that’s thanks to all of you — our passionate, vocal supporters from all walks of life who have made your voices heard year after year.

But the fight is not over. Next year we must stay active and work to ensure protections for the region are finalized and in line with what Bristol Bay Tribes and communities have been asking for.
