Last Day To Send In Email Submissions For Alaska Proposals

Reminder: Proposal Deadline Approaches for Alaska Board of Game 

(Juneau) – The deadline for submitting proposed changes to hunting and trapping regulations for the Southcentral and Southeast Regions is Friday, April 29, 2022. 

Game Management Units (GMUs) open on the Board’s Call for Proposals are Units 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (Southeast Region) and Units 6, 7, 8, 14C and 15 (Southcentral Region).

Proposals may be submitted by email, mail, fax, or online:

Proposals must be received by Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Boards Support Section office in Juneau. (A postmark is NOT sufficient for timely receipt).

Proposals received by the proposal deadline and meeting the criteria on the Call for Proposals will be considered by the Board of Game at the Southeast Region meeting scheduled for January 20-24, 2023 and the Southcentral Region meeting scheduled for March 17 – 21, 2023. Final proposals will be available for the public on the board’s website in early September.
