Mitigation Plan Update for the Board of Game Statewide Regulations Meeting

In preparation for the upcoming Board of Game Statewide Regulations Meeting, Boards Support developed a site-specific mitigation plan intended to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. In developing the plan, Boards Support received considerable advice and assistance from representatives with the Department of Health and Social Services and the meeting venue manager.  We sincerely appreciate their assistance. The mitigation plan is posted on the meeting website at:  http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=gameboard.meetinginfo&date=03-04-2022&meeting=fairbanks .If you are attending, please take the time to review the plan.

The mitigation measures in the plan allow us to fully conduct this meeting and provide a safer environment. The Department of Fish and Game is strongly encouraging a number of COVID-19 mitigation measures including mask-wearing, physical distancing, and pre-testing and having negative results prior to attending.  It is imperative all attendees adhere to the recommended mitigation measures to reduce the risk of transmitting the SARS-CoV-2 virus and/or any variant which could potentially cause the meeting to be delayed or postponed.

Anyone displaying symptoms associated with COVID-19 is asked not to attend and instead watch or listen to the meeting online. The meeting video and audio will be streamed on the Board of Game homepage for those who are interested in following the meeting remotely. We encourage the public to watch the online stream to reduce the amount of people in the meeting room.

If you plan to attend the meeting, registration can be done in advance, or on-site before entering the meeting room.  The registration link is available on the meeting website mentioned above.

We thank you for your cooperation in carrying out the mitigation measure so we can conduct the meeting without disruption.
