Anchorage Hunters Accused Of Illegal Moose Kills

On 7/1/22, Vladimir Ranaunaut, age 34 of Anchorage, and Chaneothone Sritiraj, age 51, of Anchorage, were summonsed to appear in Glennallen District Court on one count each of taking a sub-legal bull moose in Game Management Unit (GMU) 13, and wanton waste of that moose.  The incident, which occurred last September in GMU 13 near Eureka, was reported to the Alaska Wildlife Troopers who initiated an investigation into the incident, ultimately leading to the identification and charging of the suspects involved in the unlawful take and wanton waste of the moose.  Arraignment is set for 7/19/22, in Glennallen District Court.
