ADFG Announces Upcoming Board Of Fisheries Meeting Schedule

Thank you for your participation and interest in the Board of Fisheries (board) regulatory process. Here is where you can find the comprehensive summary of actions from last winter’s 2025/2026 meeting cycle and information about the upcoming 2026/2027 board meeting schedule and topics.

Review board decisions on proposals and listen to the discussion by viewing the written summaries from each of the board meetings via the links below. These meeting summaries provide the board action on each proposal and contain web links with time stamps to access the meeting audio when deliberations on each proposal occurred. In addition to the written meeting summaries, you can find all documents relating to all recent and upcoming Board of Fisheries meetings HERE.

2025/2026 Board of Fisheries Meeting Summaries:

• Work Session – October 28-29, 2025
• Pacific Cod in the Chignik, AK Peninsula/Aleutian Islands, and Bering Sea Areas – October 30-31, 2025
• Arctic-Yukon-Kuskokwim Areas Finfish – November 18-22, 2025
• Bristol Bay Area Finfish – January 13-18, 2026
• Alaska Peninsula / Aleutian Islands and Chignik Areas Finfish – February 18-25, 2026
• Statewide Finfish – March 17-22, 2026
• Special Meeting – May 1, 2026

2026/2027 BOF Meeting Dates and Locations:

The Board of Fisheries (board) operates on a three-year cycle, with upcoming topics, meeting dates, and locations listed below for the 2026/2027 season. The links below will take you to the “meeting page” for each, where all reports, comments, and documents will be posted (as they become available). Boards Support Section is currently in the proposal book development process. Accepted proposals are expected to be available online for public review sometime in September 2026.

• Lower Cook Inlet Area Finfish – December 1-4, 2026 – AVTEC, Seward
• Kodiak Area Finfish – January 5-8, 2027 – Kodiak Marketplace, Kodiak
• Upper Cook Inlet Area Finfish – March 4-15, 2027 – Egan Center, Anchorage
